14 homicides are registered during the last week of january
3 of them are investigated as femicides

The Attorney General of the State (PGJE) of San Luis Potosí reported that in the last week of January there were 14 homicides of which 3 are being investigated under a femicide protocol, in addition, there were 10 arrests of which 7 were arrest warrants and 3 forthwith arrests.
In San Luis Potosí, on January 22, in the Simón Díaz, the death of a young man of 24 years due to firearm injuries occurred.
That same day in Rioverde, a man was killed by 33 gunshot wounds in the La Selva neighborhood.
On Tuesday 23, another man died at the height of the community of La Gloria in Guadalcázar, also because of firearm injuries.
In Villa de Arriaga, the body of an 18-year-old girl was found near La Providencia community, she was wounded by a firearm and her body showed signs of torture.
That same Tuesday, in Soledad the death of a man of 50 years who was an element of the ministerial police was registered, the agent was shot in the colony San Felipe.
On January 24, in Ciudad Fernández, a femicide and the suicide of a man were caused by firearms.
On Friday 26, two municipal policemen were murdered, a man and a woman, for gunshot wounds also in Ciudad Fernández.
In Tanlajás, the murder of two people who were in a burned-out truck was reported.
The same day 26, the homicide of a young man by 23 wounds by firearm was registered. He was shot inside a Corsa vehicle, in addition to another murder in Soledad allegedly due to problems between gangs.
On Sunday 28, the death of an ex-military man who was in a meeting was registered, in this case a person is detained and his legal situation is being resolved, all this in Ciudad Valles.
Also in Villa de Arriaga a dead man was found. He was handcuffed and partially eaten by local fauna.
Regarding the ten arrests made, they were: four for qualified homicide, one for sexual abuse, one for crimes against health, one for qualified injuries, two for qualified robbery and another for a different crime.
